BRAVOnet is Network / VPG’s high port-density, carrier-class transport product suite that provides telco operators and broadcasters with a solution for transporting multiple DVB-ASI signals and different video formats over SONET/SDH and PDH telco networks with an unmatched bandwidth utilization.

Optimized real-time performance

BRAVOnet boasts the highest ASI payload in the industry, with up to 16 ASI streams on DS3 and OC-3 networks. Like the Ventura line, BRAVOnet provides carrier-class, NEBS Level 3 compliant, transport, but BRAVOnet specializes in optimizing the structured formats and multiplexing for long distance. Customers select BRAVOnet for bandwidth efficiency, such as its ability to carry two ATSC-HD channels on a single DS3 line, or for slipless ASI switching—technology that transforms a signal-break event from a 7 – 10 second viewer annoyance and advertiser nightmare into an imperceptible switch to the alternate signal source.
